[MassHistPres] DATE FOR ANTIQUE DWELLING

We have recently moved to a minimum 50-year age. I wouldn't
necessarily say "antique" is the same as "historic."
I think there can be instances where something "historic" occurs in a
house (owner, event, etc) that makes it historic at a much shorter
span of time. Some things and people (including pieces of
architecture) that can become historic very quickly.
For example: I would say the very day of the Concord Fight in 1775
the North Bridge was historic, even though it wasn't probably very
old.
best,
Debbie
