>From the photograph, I think the structure is much older- say third
quarter of the nineteenth century? Chestnut Hill, Brighton has a small
structure from that period directly on the reservior (not the big ones
currently under renovation). I do not recall if it has its original doors
to serve as a model. The two Brookline examples- Fisher Hill and
Brookline Reservior- are 1887 and 1848, respectively, so their doors would
not serve as a model.
