[MassHistPres] Looking for temporary storage

The Kingston Historical Commission was recently offered some very old double
hung windows, reportedly in good condition. We could not find a home for
them, and I don't know where they are now. Has anyone (MHC) thought about
some central storage space for historical architectural artifacts?

Hi Anne -

Thanks very much for the offer, but I think the items are a bit heavy for
that. Not for the loft -- for greenGoat workers! We're hopelessly short
staffed. We'd be looking for a utility elevator or ground floor space.

Also, by 'central', I meant closer to Boston. Sorry that wasn't clearer

Thanks again!

Amy

How man space do you think you need? Another way to think of it is in terms
of what kind of truck it would fit in: a UPS truck? a semi? an econoline
van? Is the stairwell unassembled? How heavy are the biggest pieces? I'm
asking because I have a barn with a largely-unused hayloft here in my barn
in central Mass.
