[MassHistPres] State Hospital Memorialization

HI/ I am staffing an effort to "memorialize" the Northampton State Hospital, as buildings come down and it morphs into its next phase of development. We are securing salvage items and conducting public "listening sessions" through the fall to glean what people feel should be memorialized about patient/staff life on the campus over the past 120 years. The committee will then regroup in December to process what they have heard and begin to scope out a plan to recommend to the Mayor and Developer (MassDevelopment).
