REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
 
September 18, 2006
 
The Canton Historical Commission, by and through the Town of Canton, will  be 
seeking proposals from qualified consultants to complete a National Register  
of Historic Places Nomination Form for the Canton Corner National Register  
District.
 
Applicants must have:    1.) Bachelor's degree in  Architecture, Planning, 
Historic Preservation, Architectural History, American  Studies, or a closely 
related field, plus at least two full years full-time  experience in an area 
relevant to the project; or 2.) a Mater's degree in any  one of the 
above-mentioned areas.
 
Interested parties should send a letter of interest and resume to be  
received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2006 to:

All qualified parties will be sent a Request for Proposal upon submission  of 
a letter of interest and resume. The Town of Canton is an Equal

Requests for Proposals will be available to be sent on Tuesday,  October 17, 
2006 and will be due no later than 2:00 p.m. on Monday,  November 13, 2006.  
The Canton Historical Commission reserves the right to  reject any and all 
proposals.
