in the Blackstone and Quinebaug-Shetucket Rivers Regions

The Department of Conservation and Recreation has partnered with the
John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor
Commission and the Quinebaug-Shetucket Heritage Corridor, Inc. to

identify the special places in need of protection in the communities in
this area: Auburn, Blackstone, Brimfield, Charlton, Douglas, Dudley,
East Brookfield, Grafton, Holland, Hopedale, Leicester, Mendon,
Millbury, Millville, Northbridge, Oxford, Southbridge, Sturbridge,
Sutton, Upton, 

Uxbridge, Webster, and Worcester.

 

Learn about the Heritage Landscape Inventory program and how to apply,
the regional project goals, and DCR and its partners at this
informational meeting. No cash match is required.

Directions:

From Rte. 146, Take Rte. 146 east to Uxbridge Center and turn left onto
Rte. 122 north. In 1-1/2 miles turn right at traffic light onto East
Hartford Ave. In 1 mile turn right on Oak Street at the Tri-River Family
Health Center. 
 

From East and West: Take Mass Pike west to exit 11, then take Rte. 112
south about 11 miles to North Uxbridge traffic lights.(There will be a
white church on your left , and gas station on your left) turn left onto
East Hartford Ave, take right turn onto Oak Street. 

 

The Visitor Center is located in the large red barn at River Bend Farm.
