Our land trust also has a property with a beautiful historic round stone
well, with very attractive stone work. It is all part of a relic
homestead along an old woods road. We are contemplating designing a way
to cover the well with a thick piece of plexiglass and stonework so that
folks can actually see the well. Currently we have the well covered
with a huge flat stone we located nearby. It just seemed a shame to
hide such great craftsmanship!
