Hi, Ginny,

I have been reviewing Simsbury, CT's design guidelines, which have won a number of prestigious awards.  Simsbury is not entirely rural but some of what is in the guidelines may provide inspiration to you.  They are being re-written, but I have a hard copy in my Providence office which I can share when I'm back in RI later this week, if you wish.
