[MassHistPres] Rural HD guidelines

I too was curious.  I'm in the throes of design guideline work for 
Newport, RI and although "rural" isn't necessarily applicable to 
Newport, nonetheless, I'm on the hunt for really good model guideline 
documents.  I went to the Town of Simsbury website, under Town 
Departments, Planning and Land Use, and found a link for a "Guidelines 
for Community Design" publication.   I don't know if this is the 
guideline document Karen is referencing, but regardless, it's worth a 
look. My immediate impression is that it's a pretty sophisticated and 
thoughtful planning document.
