REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
June 13, 2007
The Kingston Historical Commission, by and through the town of Kingston,
Massachusetts, will be seeking proposals from qualified consultants to
perform a town-wide archaeological reconnaissance survey of the town of
Kingston.
Consultant teams should meet all of the following standards. (1) A graduate
degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, material culture studies or a
closely-related field; (2) a least 16 months of professional experience or
specialized training in archaeological field, laboratory or library research
including: at least 4 months of field experience in general North American
archaeology; at least 6 months of experience in a supervisory role in
northeastern archaeology; and at least 6 months of field and laboratory
experience with prehistoric and historic archaeological sites and specimens.
Consultants must demonstrate that they will adhere to the regulations of 950
CMR 70.00 and policies and procedures established by the Massachusetts State
Archaeologist.

All qualified parties will be sent a Request for Proposals upon submission
of a letter of interest and resume. The Town of Kingston is an Equal
