Hi there - We have a situation where a building inspector has determined that an 24-pane set of french doors must be retrofitted with safety glass.  We were wondering whether anyone had ever used safety  film (Llumar or the like) as a way to satisfy building code without removing dozens of panes of glass.  The film is used in England on existing glass as protection against bomb blasts, etc.  If not, does anyone have any prior experience mitigating this requirement in any other way?  Thanks,
