Hello,
Has anyone also thought about the question of the usual purpose statement in demolition delay laws i.e.
to preserve and protect, through advance notice of their proposed demolition, significant buildings..which constitute or reflect distinctive features of the architectural, cultural, political, economic, or social history of the Town
when demolition is proposed that would remove those "distinctive features" whether or not the definition of demolition specifies the details of removal as in removal of roof etc.
Does the question then become: who determines if the partial removal results in loss of the significant building? One answer could be the inventory form's description.
