Hi Rachel,

We found white paint on original sash 6/6 (found in the attic) of our 1810 federal in Westford, body appeared to be light yellow and trim white. Another late Georgian/ early federal 6/9 (stolen out of a house the day before it was demo'd) in Southborough also appeared to have white sash with green trim. I personally like keeping the sash the same color as the trim and there are definitely examples at Sturbridge. Good luck,
Paul Bourdon
