[MassHistPres] Historic District Application Fees

The Bedford Historic District Commission charges $15 (fifteen) for any
application, and there is no separate publication fee. Periodically
there is talk of raising the fee, however, the HDC feels that District
property owners should not be punished for keeping their property in
good shape. We are delighted when they come to us - a high fee might
keep them away.
I would think it would be difficult to enact a sliding scale, unless it
was by cost of the project.
