[MassHistPres] district commission membership

In addition to AIA architects, appointees from our Historical Society and residents of historic districts, Hingham has an "at large" spot for members and alternates. It has been my experience that the general contractors who are willing to serve have been extremely valuable. They know building products, understand what is or is not possible, and provide alternative ways to approach a problem. Architects and builders make a great team that has served our commission well in helping to adhere to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards. The one and only caveat is obvious, that neither the architects nor the builders should do business their town that requires HDC review.
