gravemarkers of slate and marble, including one that was literally in hundreds of 
pieces.   In general, I believe there is more to be gained in repairing the old ones 
than in replacing it with a copy, unless it is truly irreparable.   To know 
that, you need to have a conservator look at it.   There are many good 
conservation firms in the area that have experience in the repair of complex breaks in
