REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
15 July 2008
The Boston Landmarks Commission, by and through the City of Boston, will
be seeking proposals from qualified consultants to complete the first
phase of a survey update for the Central Business District, last
comprehensively surveyed in 1979-80. The updates will consist of new
photographs and inventory form Continuation Sheets to amend and update
original survey form information, with a first-phase focus on buildings
constructed between 1920-1960, followed by buildings in the ladder
blocks.
Applicants must have: 1.) a Bachelor's degree in architectural history,
art history, historic preservation, or a closely related field, plus at
least two years full-time experience in an area relevant to the project;
or 2.) a Master's degree in any one of the above-mentioned areas/
Interested parties should send a letter of interest and resume no later
than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2008 to:

All qualified parties will be sent a Request for Proposal upon
submission of a letter of interest and resume. The City of Boston is an

Requests for Proposals will be available to be sent on Monday, August
11, 2008 and will be due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September
9, 2008. The City of Boston reserves the right to reject any and all
