Subject: [MassHistPres] Funding for Preservation Staff

There are no professionally staffed historic preservation positions in the
City of Springfield, in city government or in the non-profit world. I know
there are municipalities in Massachusetts that have professional staff, whether
it is in government or in a non-profit preservation group. I am interested in
how these positions are paid for in the cities and towns that have them. I
appreciate any feedback that anyone can offer.

Thank You,
Ben Murphy, Treasurer
Springfield Preservation Trust
