Subject: Re: [MassHistPres] Arlington Building

As a former Boston and Cambridge resident, I have fond memories of the
Shreve's building and always felt it was important architecturally and
I;m quite sure there is historic significance as to socio-economics and
culture. Apart from the style and context, has anyone uncovered
records, letters, other documents about the people of the past who have
made the building significant? If not, this argues for further study.
It's a great building with tales to tell and I hope that it will be
protected. Can't attend the meeting but wanted to add my support.
