The Thoreau Farm Trust and the Concord Art Association  present 
“The Art of  Barns” 

 
Join the Thoreau Farm Trust and the Concord Art Association as we celebrate 
Concord’s agricultural heritage with the second annual barn tour. Explore "The 
Art of Barns" with a tour of five local barns of architectural and/or historic 
interest, as well as an art exhibition featuring agricultural-inspired art 
and artist demonstrations. A reception at the Concord Art Association will 
conclude the tour.
Sunday, September 28 ~ 1– 5  p.m. 
Thoreau Farm, 341 Virginia Road, Concord 
Tours are self-drive and begin at the Thoreau birthplace  where guests will 
receive a map and refreshments, as well as enjoy tours of the  Thoreau 
birthplace. 
Tickets are $17 in advance, $20  day of the event
