Lowell's Coalition for a Better Acre St. Joseph's High School project has been selected as one of 25 projects in Greater Boston to compete for preservation funds through the National Trust for Historic Preservation/American Express Partners in Preservation Greater Boston Initiative. Funding would help renovate the former school building into 22 affordable housing units and would specifically address critical preservation needs related to the structure's roof.
Voting begins today and runs through May 17 and you can cast one vote each day per email address so vote early and often!
Click the link below to vote for St. Joseph's (you'll have to register but it's quick and easy). Your vote can not only help preserve a signficant historic structure but also help provide affordable housing for those in need.
Thanks!
