[MassHistPres] Hardship Applications Question

Jeff,
I wounder if you (or any of the other commissions) make suggestions to
modify design, materials or simply scale back a project.
This is what I've learned over the years through working with remodeling
contractors, less money equals a smaller project and maintenance is
typically less expensive than replacement. Long term savings come from
maintaining good materials and short to medium term come from maintaining
poor materials that are designed to be replaced.
