Hi Mr Temple,

New Bedford's WHALE organization hosted a historic paint workshop 2 months
ago and the 2 speakers were terrific. I can get the information for you,
your friend, or speak to them directly. I am a painting contractor who
specializes in this sort of thing. I found it. One fellow was:

Frederic Detwiller

302 Central St.

Georgetown, MA 01833

 <mailto:rick.detwiller at comcast.net> rick.detwiller at comcast.net

He is an architect who also specializes in historic paint schemes. The
other gentleman was:

John B. Vaughan

Architectural Conservation Services

190 High Street

Bristol, RI 02809

(401) 410-0077 T

His company provides paint analysis so if your friend wanted to know what
original colors were applied call him. I have family in Medfield.

Good Luck

A local friend is plannning to repaint a ~1910 Queen Anne house in Medfield
a different color and looking for advice about historically appropriate
colors. Any suggestions about sources of information?
