The Lincoln Historic District Commission recently reviewed proposals
for road improvements in the Lincoln Center Historic District that
included granite curbing, a raised crosswalk, and signage. Our
standard was "appropriateness," and we voted that the crosswalk was
not appropriate in the location proposed.
