[MassHistPres] Replicas of Westinghouse Street Lamps-Codes

Thank you to those who asked "what codes" and suggested LED lights  
(yes!)

I've learned from engineering company here that codes are written by  
street light manufacturers based on "engineering best practices."  5"  
diam. pole is acceptable, and the scroll will be approximate, but the  
base is more difficult (see attachment below for picture of the  
beautiful 1914 base.)

Has any replica of an historic element been installed in  
Massachusetts. Did it involve waiving liability?
