I believe the City of Quincy has many (many) single property local
historic districts in urban residential neighborhoods.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Single-property historic districts

The Mass. law covering historic districts says, "The buildings,
structures or sites to be included in the proposed historic district may
consist of one or more parcels or lots of land, or one or more buildings
or structures on one or more parcels or lots of land." Can anyone cite
examples of, or experiences, with single-property historic districts
(e.g., a farm)?
