[MassHistPres] Single-property historic districts

As Dennis Dewitt mentioned, Somerville has over 100 single building districts and there are other towns that have single or two or three property districts - the jurisdication of visibility from a public way etc.....holds true in any event.

  The Mass. law covering historic districts says, "The buildings, structures or sites to be included in the proposed historic district may consist of one or more parcels or lots of land, or one or more buildings or structures on one or more parcels or lots of land." Can anyone cite examples of, or experiences, with single-property historic districts (e.g., a farm)?
