[MassHistPres] workshops

I have been pushing for an accreditation process for a few years. My friends could graduate from a planning degree or architecture degree, add a few years of experience, take a test and then have APA or AIA certification. Maybe preservation is too broad to have a specific Accredited Preservation Professional (APP) or Professional Historic Preservationist (PHP). But, you could have something.

I would be happy to sit on any board/committee that seeks ways to create such certification standards - perhaps in cooperation with our historic preservation providers such as Boston University, University of Vermont, or Roger Williams/
