Amherst has approved an original and then an expanded update of
installation of cylindrical broadcast antennae on the exterior of a tan
brick and stone bell tower for a Catholic church--a scale reproduction
of an historic Italian church--in the center of our downtown. The shape
and color of the antennae allow them to disappear into the architectural
detailing of the tower.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Bell Tower Telecommunications Antennae
Has anyone reviewed a request for installation of antennae (75 ft or
so) within a church bell tower?
If so does anyone have photos of what this might look like?
