The best thing to do about minutes and other issues affecting the
Commission is to check in with the Town/CIty Counsel. There are also two
booklets available- one on the Open Meeting Law and one having to do with
Conflict of Interest.
We had a By-law passed that requires all Commission/Board members to
attend a seminar on all those issues. Brookline's Town
Counsel 's office has issued a "Conflict of Interest, Open Meeting, and
Public Records Laws in Massachusetts: A Primer for Town Committees." I
can download it to make it available sometime next week.
