[MassHistPres] demolition of Frank Lloyd Wright House

The Baird House is a FLW Usonian house, and was designed for Amherst College English professor Theodore Baird.  It is listed on the National Register, and is still a private residence.

The Baird House, 38 Shays St., 1940.  I'd forgotten that.  It's in a "field guide" to FLlW that doesn't seem to mention anything in Wellesley.

 

Probably about as close as Manchester

Unless a lost one one has been discovered, I believe the nearest FLlW house is in N.H.
