Subject: [MassHistPres] Archival help needed
I'm a member of the Wrentham Historical Commission. We have a large
collection of artifacts ranging from furniture and costumes to maps, plans,
photographs and books. We are in the process of organizing and moving some
of the collection to another facility. Due to the size of the task, we
realize we need some professional help. We've received a proposal from
National Library Relocations to assist us in this task, but need to have two
other quotes in order to satisfy the town to release the funding. I've
searched the Preservation Mass directory, but that mostly seems to
concentrate on buildings. Is there anyone who can recommend other companies
that might help us with our task? Thanks in advance.
