West Brookfield's poor farm?has been?in private hands since at least the 80's (most likely much earlier) & modified for occupancy as a private home with grandfathered 2nd apartment.? It has been fairly heavily modified on the interior with most of the interior walls (especially on the 2nd floor rooming level) removed and replaced with more typical modern room arrangements.? Many of the original wall placements are still visible on the floors though.? Exterior is "minimally" modified with vinyl siding, probably replacement windows & some access on one end & back.? I'm not familiar enough with the property or it'shistory to be able to say anything about the grounds or out-buildings.

Westport has its Poor Farm historic buildings and land still intact and owned by the Town.? It is now leased by the Trustees of Reservation.
?
Are there other Poor Farms in the state with historic buildings and/or land still intact?
?
Thank you.
