The Andover Historical Society has managed its collection, which includes a large number of photographs, for a number of years with PastPerfect. The software is inexpensive, flexible, user-friendly and will perform to the stated requirements as well as allow online access. I suggest that you contact the Executive Director at AHS to discuss specifics.

We in Hull are planning a similar project, with similar questions. I'd be quite interested in any suggestions as well.

Preservation Worcester is looking to organize its photographic
archives. We plan to scan our collection of film slides and will need
to set up a photo database for managing them and also all of our
present and future digital photos. We want to consolidate all of our
photo images in a single location, so they can be accessed easily by
staff and docents. Also, we want to set up a database that will allow
us to cross-reference and search for them under a variety of
categories. Can anyone recommend good photo management software for us
to consider. Pastperfect software has been suggested. Does anyone
have experience with it? Other software suggestions? Advice about
	getting started?
