Request for Proposals
Communitywide Inventory of Historic Properties
In accordance with MGL Chapter 30B, the Stow Historical Commission invites
qualified individuals and firms to submit proposals to develop a
communitywide survey of approximately 240 cultural and architectural
resources in the town of Stow, Massachusetts to the specifications of the
Massachusetts Historical Commission. The project will provide the Stow
Historical Commission (SHC) and the Stow community with professional
historical appraisal of selected cultural and architectural resources.
Interested applicants may obtain applications beginning on January 13, 2010,
in one of two ways:
* Send an email request for an electronic application packet to:

* Pick up a printed application packet at the Selectmen's Office,
Room 202, Town Building, 380 Great Road, Stow, MA 01775 from the hours of
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Applications will be accepted until 12:00 noon on Friday, February 26, 2010,
at the Selectmen's Office, Room 202, Town Building, 380 Great Road, Stow, MA
01775.

Procedures under this RFP require separate and confidential submissions of
pricing and a technical proposal. Selection will be made after taking into
consideration the overall most advantageous proposal based on the evaluation
criteria specified in the Request for Proposals.
Award of a contract is subject to approval by the Stow Historical
Commission. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all
proposals.
The Town of Stow meets all requirements under Federal, State, and local
