There are two small Quonset huts at Field Farm Reservation in Williamstown. Lawrence Bloedel, who bequeathed this property to The Trustees, was a WWII vet and had access to surplus military materials. The huts used for storage, then and now.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Quonset Hut Inventory

There is a quonset hut located behind the Maynard Country Club clubhouse off Route 27 (50 Brown Street) and is currently in use as an equipment shed. We also had one - at the former rotary, now the intersection of Rt. 117 and Rt. 27 - that was used as a clubhouse for the local Will Dodd Boys and Girls Club but it was replaced by a permanent brick building many years ago.
