Subject: [MassHistPres] Real Slate Chalk Boards
The Town of Bedford is renovating a school building that was built in
1950. As part of this project, about 20 pieces of slate, each 60" x
39", are being removed to be thrown away. I have asked the contractor
to store the slate for as long as possible (at this point, that's about
a week) in order to see if there is any demand for some or all of these
pieces. It seemed a real shame to have such a valuable resource go to
waste.
These slate boards are free for the taking. Please contact me as soon
as possible to express your interest.
