Thanks to the assistance of Anne Grady, the Cambridge Historical Society
worked with Dr. Daniel Miles of Oxford Dendrochronology Laboratory. He lives
in England, which is a bit of a drawback, but I understand he does travel to
the U.S. relatively regularly. You can reach him at
