We are designing "Entering Historic District" signs for our two local
historic districts, and are wondering what size sign other historic districts
have.

One of our districts is in downtown, and will be seen/read by both
pedestrians and motorists. The other is in a more rural area, speed limits
(theoretically) between 25 and 35 mph, and will be seen/read mostly by
motorists.

Currently, we are looking at 30" wide, 20 " high signs, with lettering
about 3.25" high. We are currently investigating bronze signs in this size,
and have contacted Artistic Bronze Company in Opa-Locka, FL, for prices.
Has anyone dealt with this company, or have an opinion as to their
reliability? Their price range is attractive.
