Can anyone identify an original chimney and fireplace in a small, late 18th
century house(s) in Berkshire County? I define a small house in this
instance to be less than 1,500 sq. ft. or 22' x 28' or less in size.

I am looking for a such a chimney to use as a model for a chimney that I am
building in my Richmond house. The presence of surviving
chimneys/fireplaces in houses of this small size is very rare since most
original chimneys have been demolished as a result of interior room
alterations or the deterioration of the 18th century brick, which was often
not have good quality.

Street addresses would be appreciated.

Thanks.
