Sharon,
I was at the Book Bear in West Brookfield yesterday and saw several vital
records to 1850 among their stacks. I don't know if Egremont was one of the
towns but it might be worth a call to see if they have a copy. I don't know
their telephone number but they are on Route 9 in West Brookfield, Ma.

Subject: [MassHistPres] Our town's Vital Records book is missing......
does anyone know where I can find a copy of
Vital Records of Egremont to 1850, published in Boston in 1902 by the New
England Historical Society?
Someone "borrowed" our copy ages ago, so it's gone. Egremont Historical
Commission is therefore interested to buy another one (if one is available
for sale) or borrow and digitally copy it, if there is no other option.
Since our Archives' holdings include many, many other town Vital Records I
am hoping that someone out there might be in the same position and also have
a copy of ours.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Sharon Genin
