We seemed to have had three over the years- the Stoneholm (the Beaux Arts
apartment building on Beacon); the Dutch House at 20 Netherland Road (The
Columbian World's Fair building moved to Brookline) and 43 Sumner Road
(Georgian/Federal house ).  We don't really have formal nomination
process.  We ask everyone to nominate and we review them for time and
design criteria and then the Commission votes.  I think it is a great
award.  Sometimes people don't do enough in one big rehab ,. but take care
of the property over the years.
