oh, i'm sorry to learn of bob's passing...i was just speaking of him--most fondly--the other day.  i was honored to work with him on my very first preservation project in provincetown in 1996.  bob was such a character and a wealth of knowledge which he shared in his somewhat curmudgeonly style...one of a kind for sure...
