Eric,

The Rededication of 1834 Sandwich Town Hall will take place on October 2, 2010.

During the 3.1 million restoration project we have utilized Sharon B. Perlmutter (ThePaintedLine.com) for the stenciling of the Meeting Hall ceiling (she also specializes in trompe l'oeil). With her on our restoration project and consulting on the stenciling has been Andrew Ladygo.

For historic plaster restoration we utilized Mason Cook who I believe has undertaken many historic preservation projects including the Wadsworth-Longfellow House.

Best,

Jon Shaw

We need to assess existing conditions and scope a restoration project for the historic plaster and trompe l’oeil of the sanctuary. We are looking for recommendations of specialists who can provide this service.
