Hello, on page 3 of this weeks Middleboro Gazette there is an article
about a mid 18th century cape on Wareham Street that has to be moved.
The Shaw Home for the Aged next door has bought the property to expand
and needs it removed. The article shows some lovely interior details
and says the Home is willing "to help defray the costs". Goes on to
say the main (older) part of the house is in good condition with oak
framing and tapered side posts, many fireplaces, paneling and handmade
doors. It is near an old mill complex on Fall Brook.
The contact people are Robert Desroisers, 508-947-3561 or Ed Herrmann
at 508-947-1184 ext 211, email eherrmann at theshawhome.org.
Drive by this every time I go into Middleboro from Rochester, and it
is a nice looking house.

I realized that If I had to choose, I would rather have birds than
airplanes.
