[MassHistPres] Ask the Expert Day MONSON

Hello,

We are very appreciative of the professionals that have so generously given
of their time in the tornado damaged areas of Western Massachusetts. As you
may be aware, Preservation Massachusetts has planned to have two Ask the
Expert Days. *Springfield's Ask the Expert Day is scheduled for Thursday,
August 11 from 3-7 at the Judd/Stitzer YMCA*. We have gotten wonderful
responses.* WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF EXPERTS, especially Contractors,
Structural Engineers, Craftsmen, HazMat/Abatement, Roofers/Chimney Repair,
and Masons*. Please feel free to sign up by emailing Courtney Whelan at
cwhelan at preservationmass.org.

We are also interested in serving the needs of historic property owners and
stewards in Monson and those surrounding communities. We have *TENTATIVELY
set the date for Saturday, August 20th in Monson*. This date is contingent
upon the number of responses we receive for volunteers. We understand
Saturdays in August are difficult to give up.  If we do not have a healthy
response, we will schedule the Monson Ask the Expert Day for a week day to
be determined in September.


*If you are available and/or would be interested in taking part in a Monson
Ask the Expert day on Saturday, August 20, please respond to Courtney Whelan
at cwhelan at preservationmass.org .  We will contact all who respond with the
final word regarding the Monson session's date.
