>> Jack, Here the pictures of the house we spoke about.  This is a charming small 18thc cape on Centre Street, Dover, with many original features, in need of a new location.
>> Enough details left to satisfy a purist, feather edge panelling, surrounds, etc. with a few later mysteries to be solved.   Early glass to peer through and original stones to step upon.  The house is known as the Josiah Draper House, for the first owner who fought at the Battle of Bunker Hill. The original house is the wing closest to the street. It has been used as a farm house ( originally ), then as a harness shop, an Inn, and as a residence. It was owned by the Drapers, Whitings, and Mackenzies before being bought by the Gliddens in 1912 or 1914. The wing farthest from the street was built in 1932.
