This is a perfect example of the potential value of this list serve.
Chris is there an online accessible list of old strings?
Looking for Bronze Statue in my computer, I find a string from 2005 with the following suggestions:
the Stuart Dean company
Dædalus Inc., at 205-3 Arlington St., Watertown, MA 02472;
the principal is Clifford Craine, 1-800-252-0368.
Darius Ferantina
24 Russell Street
Arlington, Massachusetts 02474
781 646 9105
<<art-care.com>>.
Brookline had it's Bronze equestrian statue restored about 10 years ago. A call to its Preservation Commission might get the name of the firm that did it.

What we need are recommendations of conservators or other qualified individuals who can repair the bronze statue while it is off the pedestal, and replace the pins on the seven foot high granite pedestal. Any recommendations would be welcome
