[MassHistPres] Skylight needs a new home (literally)

I am posting this for a friend who writes:

"I have an old skylight which probably dates to 1876 when our house was built. I don't need it, so I am hoping someone else interested in Victorian preservation would be interested. It's 24" by 42" and looks like the gable-end type in this illustration, but it also has a vent stack at one end:

It needs restoration, but it's still in one piece and the (presumably) original frosted glass is intact.

I'd love to give it to someone who would restore it and make good use of it.

Please pass this information to anyone who might be interested.

Also, recommendations for other ways to save it from random destruction would be appreciated too.

Thanks,
