Registration is Now Open! Deadline: November 10, 2011

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will be presenting a Historic Cemetery Preservation Workshop on November 18, 2011 in Lowell, Massachusetts. Technical sessions and outdoor cemetery labs will provide attendees with a foundation of knowledge for protecting the historic character of these significant public landscapes. From documentation and planning, to partnerships and funding, the workshop is designed to help municipal staff, cemetery managers and crews, volunteers, consultants and anyone interested in the preservation of the Commonwealth's rich cultural landscape. The workshop is made possible through support from the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) and the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust, Inc.
